A wide, shallow Song porcelain bowl with a broad domed lid painted in soft periwinkle chrysanthemums and golden ginkgo branches that arc across the ivory glaze like ink-wash brushwork. At the centre, a small circular knob in mirror-polished gold catches the light from above. The bowl body is pure white and undecorated — designed to present food without competition.

The Midnight Blue Warming Stand

A wide-based truncated cone in deep midnight blue glaze, its surface marked with loose white brushstrokes applied by hand — no two stands identical. Crescent-shaped apertures cut into the lower body allow air to circulate around a tealight within, keeping the bowl warm through the meal.
