Form as Object. White as Finish.
A porcelain spoon that stands on its own — its handle curving sharply downward into a stiletto arch that lifts the bowl clear of the table, the entire piece undecorated, the glaze the only surface.
Form
A teardrop-shaped bowl in high-white porcelain, its plan view a smooth pointed oval, its interior a shallow concave well. The neck tapers to a narrow waist before sweeping downward in a single continuous arc — the curve deepening and then reversing at the foot, where the handle tip turns upward to form a self-supporting arch. The spoon rests on two contact points: the underside of the bowl rim and the tip of the arch, holding the bowl suspended above the table surface. The entire piece is plain white throughout — no decoration, no colour, no applied line of any kind. The form is the statement.
