A covered bowl in the shape of a river stone — its profile a continuous oval with no angles, no knob, no applied ornament of any kind. The only mark is the platinum seam where lid meets body: a single horizontal line that circles the piece at its widest point, as precise and deliberate as a signature.

Form

An elliptical covered bowl in high-white porcelain, its upper half a smooth dome and its lower half a shallow oval base, the two halves fitting together so cleanly that the join reads as decoration rather than construction. The glaze is a deep, mirror-bright white throughout — no texture, no pattern, no colour. The platinum line at the join is the sole decorative element.
