Gold Kintsugi — 11" Fuyao Flat Display Plate

A Dark Field. Gold Running Through It.

At 1.5cm tall and 27.7cm wide, this plate is almost entirely horizontal — a disc of deep Wujin black glaze so flat it reads as a surface rather than a vessel, the gold kintsugi veins crossing it like fault lines in dark stone.

Form & Decoration

A wide, ultra-flat disc in deep Wujin glaze — its surface mirror-polished, shifting between black and deep charcoal as the light moves. The kintsugi veins are painted by hand: one broad main line enters from the lower left, widens at a central node, then branches into finer threads that taper across the surface. A fine gold line traces the outer rim. The profile, seen from the side, is a single unbroken arc — 1.5cm from table to rim, no more.
