Form & Decoration

A round saucer, a spherical covered bowl, and a domed lid — all in high-white porcelain. The saucer is covered in gold thread lattice from rim to a plain white centre circle, its outer edge traced in cobalt blue then gold. The bowl carries a wide band of the same lattice at its equator, the upper and lower thirds left plain white. The lid is a smooth dome, its apex fitted with a small square-form knob — corners rounded like a seal, edges traced in gold.
