A covered soup bowl with its own porcelain warmer — the set complete from flame to table, the gold thread lattice running through every piece that faces upward.

Form & Decoration

The bowl is round with two flat Ruyi-form ears pressed flush to the body on either side — solid, not pierced, their outline the classic cloud-head curve. A wide band of gold thread lattice circles the bowl at its widest point, framed by a cobalt blue line above and a gold line below. The lid is a low dome covered entirely in the same gold thread lattice, its centre left plain white around a square rounded-corner knob traced in gold. The warmer is a square porcelain box in plain white, its four faces each pierced with four vertical slots for airflow, its top rim traced in a single gold line.
