Gold Thread — 8" Bone Dish

A Ring of Gold. A Field of White.

The same guilloché that crowns the Linglong Teapot, here laid flat — a continuous band of interlocking gold spirals encircling a plain white centre, the whole thing barely 2cm above the table.

Form & Decoration

A wide, flat disc in high-white porcelain, its profile a single shallow arc — 2cm at its highest point, the walls rising almost imperceptibly before flattening into the surface. The rim band carries the same dense warm-gold guilloché spiral pattern as the Linglong Teapot shoulder, framed by a cobalt blue line at the inner edge and a fine gold line at the very rim. The centre is a large, uninterrupted plain white circle. Seen from above, the plate reads as a perfect target: gold ring, white field, gold rim.
