A Sphere of White. A Crown of Gold.
A round-bodied teapot in high-white porcelain — its lower half entirely plain, its shoulder carrying a wide band of gold guilloché that circles the pot like a belt of woven light. The mirror-gold sphere knob at the apex completes the composition.
Form & Decoration
A full, spherical body in glossy high-white porcelain, its lower two-thirds left completely undecorated. At the shoulder, a broad band of dense gold guilloché — the same overlapping elliptical spiral pattern as the Shuxin Towel Dish, here in a warm champagne-gold tone — runs continuously around the pot, framed by a cobalt blue line above and a fine gold line below. The lid is a smooth dome in plain white, its apex fitted with a mirror-polished gold sphere knob. The spout is long and gently curved, tapering to a fine tip; the handle is a generous S-curve, its inner edge traced in gold. Both spout tip and handle edge carry the same fine gold line as the rim.
