A Landscape Unfolded on the Table.
Before the food arrives, there is already something to look at. A mountain range rendered in ink wash, drifting across the surface of a porcelain tray as if painted by a brush held loosely in a moving hand.
Form & Decoration
An elongated octagonal tray in matte ivory porcelain, its eight chamfered corners framed by a continuous fine silver line that traces the perimeter with quiet authority. The surface is painted in the ink-wash tradition — distant peaks dissolving into mist on the left, a cluster of rocks emerging from the right, and open white space between them that breathes like a classical landscape scroll. At the centre, a small oval dipping bowl rises organically from the tray surface, rimmed in silver, perfectly sized for sauces, condiments, or a single pour of soy.
Designed for sushi, sashimi, dim sum, or any composed dish that deserves a considered stage. The tray is long enough to present a full platter, refined enough to serve as a centrepiece on its own.
