A Bloom Held Still in Porcelain.

Some objects earn their place on the table not by what they hold, but by what they are. This is one of them.

Form & Finish

Eight petals of ivory-white porcelain rise and fall in gentle relief, each one pressed and shaped by hand so that no two are quite identical — the surface catching light differently at every angle, shifting between warm white and soft shadow as the piece is turned. The glaze is luminous and slightly uneven in the way that only hand-finished ceramics can be, pooling faintly at the base of each petal where the clay is thickest. A fine silver line traces the entire perimeter, following every curve and point of the lobed rim with quiet precision.

Designed as a saucer for the Yunxi Dessert Cup, and equally at home as a standalone dish for petit fours, chocolates, jewellery, or anything small and worth presenting carefully. Part of the Ten Thousand Li collection, where classical Chinese aesthetics meet modern minimal luxury.
